Thought of the Day

Hello glamorous people,

You may remember I’ve recently blogged about starting my own fashion company- if you missed it click here – I’m torn between starting a image consultancy business or opening my own clothing store.

I was just wondering, which one do you guys believe will be more beneficial to the Bristol community?

If I had my own clothing store I would specialise in not just selling clothes/accessories, but selling a look- such as preppy, girly, chic, etc. So similar to a stylist business I would be teaching people how to achieve the look they want, how to re-invent themselves completely.

As I’ve said before, I want Bristol to become more Fashionable and would love to be a part of making that happen!

So which do you guys think would be better? An image consultancy business or a clothing store that works similar to a consultancy business? Let me know as I’d really love to hear your opinions, get your feedback/suggestions.

Thought of the Day

Hey lovelies!

I’ve been thinking about potentially starting my own style consultancy business but I’m not sure where to start, how to start or if anyone would even use it! So I’m just looking for some feedback if possible?

Basically, I want to know if you think it could be a good idea and any advice on how to gain experience/ get started would be very appreciated!

So far I’ve only done an online course through the job site Reed studying about becoming a personal stylist but there’s only so much online can tell you where as real world experience can actually show you.

If anyone reading this would like an apprentice that would be even more incredible.

Like I said, I’ve got this idea but with my lack of experience I’d really appreciate some help to get me started.

So what do you guys think?

Fashion Favourites Under £20

Here are some gorgeous clothes from Forever21 for under £20!

This structured knit bodysuit looks so complimenting, I love the red shade and how it compliments the model’s body nicely!

Slogan t-shirts were very popular recently, I think graphic tees like this Johnny Depp one will be exactly what replaces slogan tees.

Who didn’t enjoy watching Rugrats growing up? This bodysuit brings back all those 90’s nostalgia feels!

For those of you who (like me) really have no interest in dieting!

Who does’t like pizza?

This floral bodysuit looks beautiful! It definitely adds something to your look and will catch many peoples’ eyes. I particularly love the subtlety of the colours.

This open-shoulder knit top looks so cute and I really like it paired with a denim skirt, the whole look screams fun and flirty.

Perfect for a grunge look, pair with fishnet tights and big black boots, some messy hair and you’ll look hot af!

This classic mickey mouse looks so much better than any modern version- in my opinion- I think the bodysuit looks great and I would pair with a black skirt or leggings for a cute look.

Such a sexy lace bodysuit! The idea of wearing it like the model is wearing is just fantastic and really gives a sexy edge to bodysuits.

I honestly need this top, some people just don’t understand then someone’s not interested- I think this top will get them get that message perfectly.

Thought of The Day

Sticking with the starting my own fashion company in Bristol, I’m wondering where do I even start? Like what do I do?

At the moment I’m trying to do any research I can that would suggest that other people think it would be a good idea. A Bristol based fashion company specialising in promoting Bristol designers and their work, the ability to order custom made garments from said designers, an apprenticeship scheme.

Honestly it would bring so many creative opportunities to Bristol, so many jobs and would attract a lot of attention (I think so anyway).

But where to start? How to start?
